Location: City of Weldon Spring corporate limits

Project Objectives: Develop a comprehensive city-wide Park and Greenway/Trail Master Plan for the City of Weldon Spring, Missouri.

Project timeline: approximately six (6) to nine (9) months from start to finish.

Area: Within City corporate limits, approximately 7.78 square miles

Estimated Project Budget: TBD

Consultant Services Required:
• Review of existing city info: City Comprehensive Plan (2015) - Trail Map, Potential Conservation Lands Map, etc., City Park Master Plan (2017), Community-wide Survey Results (2021), St. Charles County Greenway/Trail Master Plan (2020), Summary & location of existing City Parks, and US Census Data (2010 & 2020)
• Facilitate multiple community/public meetings with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) and Board of Aldermen
• Public Engagement – community involvement: outreach, data/feedback collection, analysis and summary
• Identify specific capital projects/goals and objectives for prioritization and future planning
• Provide a cost estimate for special projects identified in the planning process for budgetary purposes
• Develop a concept, preliminary and final Weldon Spring Parks/Greenway Master Plan document
• Provide a template Resolution to formally accept/adopt the Parks/Greenway Master Plan

Submit: Letter of Interest should not exceed eight (8) pages or be less than two (2) pages total. A page is defined as one 8-1/2 by 11 inches sheet and printed on one side. Two copies of the Letter of Interest should be received at the address and by the time specified. 

The following criteria will be used to assist with the review, consideration and be a basis for selection of the successful firm.
