Weldon Spring City Park
Located at 5401 Independence Road, the City Park offers guest a beautiful landscape to gather for recreational fun. Park amenities include a recently re-mulched playground, walking paths, two baseball diamonds, pavilions with picnic tables, a four-hole disc-golf course, and a pond stocked with fish (Catch and release only) with a wooden pier for wheelchair access.
Crooked Creek Park
Located at 375 Siedentop Rd., Crooked Creek Park is a quaint pocket park perfect for outdoor relaxation and recreation. Featuring a scenic trail for leisurely strolls, a swing set for kids, and peaceful picnic areas, it's an ideal destination for families and nature lovers alike. in 2021 the City of Weldon Spring hired Planning Design Studios to create a City-wide Parks Master Plan the would guide the future of parks & multi-use paths if/when development occurs. The Master Plan was made with input from the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee and the community.
Facilities
The park has
three pavillions and
two practice fields available for reservations. Reservations will be accepted
in person and online beging the
second Monday in March every year (3/11/2024).
Capacity
The large pavilion on the back of the Parks Building will accommodate approximately 40+ guests with a total of five picnic tables. The small pavilion down by the city lake will accommodate approximately 32+ guests with a total of four picnic tables.
The reservation guarantees the site for the day chosen. However, you will share the rest of the park with the public; that includes the playground, walking trail, parking lots, the lake (catch and release only) and the handicap accessible restrooms on the Red Barn.
Please note that the inside of the City Parks Building is reserved for City events only.
